Meet Nathan Kuykendall, OD
Was born and raised in Claremore, OK. Nathan was a “Claremore Zebra” and graduated from Claremore High School in 2015.

Following high school, he went on to complete his undergraduate degree at John Brown University. He earned a degree in Business Finance while also receiving a double minor in biology and chemistry. Outside of his academics, Nathan played college tennis for JBU and even served as the team captain his senior year.
​
It was during Nathan’s time in college he decided to pursue the field of optometry. Nathan studied optometry in Tahlequah, OK at the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry. During his time in Optometry School, Nathan became involved in the American Optometric Student Association and even went on to become the National Vice-President during his fourth year.
​
As a board-certified optometrist, he is passionate about leadership and how technology can be used to create a better patient care experience. He loves challenging the "status quo" to explore where more value could be added to his patients.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan loves being with his family. He and his wife, Emily, have three children. They enjoys spending time outside, with friends, and serving at their church.

What start Valet Vision?
Valet Vision was created because I believed there was a need in the Owasso community to provide a personalized eyecare experience with a straightforward pricing approach.

I hated the "ambiguity" behind how much it would cost someone to have an eye exam and purchase glasses/contacts, so I looked to create a new approach that would simplify the experience from start-to-finish for patients.
